Well, we did it, we bought a new computer. It has windows vista for an operating system, that will take some getting use to, but we are up for the challenge. Say a prayer for us. God Bless.

Returning from Vacation

Wow, what a vacation. We started out on August 16, 2007 at around 11:15 am and arrived in Michigan on August 17, 2007 at around 12:45 pm. We had a great visit with all of the kids and grandkids and of course all of our friends and family. It was great to visit will all of them. We had a pig roast on August 25, 2007 and had a great turn out dispite the bad weather a couple of days before that knoted out the power for many in the area including us. We did not get the electic back until Sunday night at aroung 6:00pm. Then on Tuesday August 28, 2007 it was off to Ohio to visit Charlie and Wendy and my three beauitful granddaughters, Shannon, Katie and Leah(half pint). We were there until Friday morning and that is when we started for home. We arrived home around 2:00pm on Saturday.
It was nice to get home to our own bed, even though the beds that were provided for us on our trip where comfortable, it is always nice to get in your own bed, right? We always have such a wonderful time on our trips north, it is nice when everyone seems happy to see us. We always go to breakfast the last morning that we are in Michigan, and have a standing invitation for any to come and see us off, well this year we had around 20. Our one niece Regge was not able to attend this year, because her and her husband Lane were blessed with a new baby girl while we were there, her name if Jaylyn, pretty name huh? Then when we were headed to bed at Charlie and Wendy's house for our last night there, we were blessed with good bye notes from all three of our granddaughters, letting us know how much they enjoyed our visit and thanking us for coming to stay with them and they can't wait for our next visit. That always makes me feel good when the youngests want you to come back huh? Well, I am doing laundry today and getting ready for work tomorrow and then on Wednesday my Mom will be returning from her summer in Michigan, and things will be getting back to normal for us here in Florida. God Bless all of you, and I thank God for my many blessings.

How lucky am I, I have two great kids that have both started to blog, so I can read about what is going on in their lives on a daily basis. I look forward to checking my e-mail everyday and then going onto the web and checking each one of their blogs to see what exciting things happen to them that day. I feel Blessed. Thank you God

My many blessings

Wow, it has been almost two months since I posted anything to my blog.
I was sitting in my office today and looking at all of the pictures that I have of my family, it made me realize how blessed I am. When I was younger, I use to think that to be happy I needed material things, but as I have grown older I realize that money doesn't make you happy, for instant, my son called me the other day to wish me a Happy Birthday, he addressed me as how was the most beautiful 59 year old woman in the world doing. See what I mean about blessings, I have so many sometimes it overwhelms me and I start crying. I remember when I was by myself, after my divorce, raising my children by myself, their father was close by, but it is not like having a loving husband that you live with everyday, I use to feel sorry for myself, but I realize now that the Lord was preparing me for today, so I would appreciate all of my blessings that he has given me, from my loving husband to my wonderful children and grandchildren. I thank God on a daily basic for all that he has given me.

Growing Pains

I was talking to my daughter today. Wow, she does have her hands full with the three kids, but she does such a great job with them. I know that sometimes it can be really trying, but I assured her that the rewards would come one day, and she would be thankful that she stayed the course. When she has days like this, it makes me wish I could be closer, so I could be there to go over and take over for a few hours and give her a break, but not for another 4 years and 8 months will I be able to do that. I guess all I can do is pray that God will give her the strength and guidance to handle all that the little ones throw at her.

Answered Prayers

Well, finally Tony Dungy was rewarded for all of his hard work. I was so happy for the Colts and for Tony and his family. I have to admit that I was a little sad for Lovie Smith, but just a little. I am sure there will be another time for him.

Super Bowl Sunday 2007

Wow, Super Bowl Sunday is here already. I wait all year for this day. Who will win, I really want Tony Dungy to win, he is such a nice guy. You know when he was at Tampa Bay, and then they fired him, I was so upset, but look what happened, the next year John Gruden won the Super Bowl, but I always felt and still do, that he won it with Tony's team. So I really hope and pray that God will bless Tony and his Colts tomorrow and give him what he deserves, a win!!!!
